A little while ago, we had a customer get in touch via social media to ask us about our recycling policy. And so, we thought it would be good to let you all know about how we’re doing our bit and looking towards what other things we can do to up our recycling game…
Our Recycling Policy
Recycling at Kidabulous is handled by Biffa, we have a mixed recycling bin that is used by staff in order to recycle as much plastic packaging and cardboard as possible. General customer waste (including plastic and cardboard) is recycled at the Biffa depot. Biffa assures us that dedicated teams sort and recycle as much of this waste cardboard and plastic as possible at the depot.
What Else Can We Do?
We’re in discussion with Biffa to find out if there’s anything more we can do on-site to increase our recycling capabilities and we’re always open to customer suggestions and feedback on the subject.
Reducing Our Impact on the Environment
At Kidabulous, we are committed to helping lessen our impact on the environment by running our business in a clean and efficient way. At the beginning of 2018, we invested in Green Energy with the installation of around 200 commercial solar panels on our roof. Since then, we have seen our electricity consumption reduce by about 40%.
